Master Jose Zapata
- 2019-Present Worked as Umpire for Sunshine State ITF
- 2004- I Participated in the Seminar of Referee of Taekwon-Do with the Sabum Nim Ri Yong Il 6th Dan
- 2007- I was appointed International Umpire Class A (Cert No. 958)
- 2007- I worked as Umpire at the XV ITF Slovenia Taekwon-Do World Championship
- 2007- I worked as Umpire and VIP in the VIII Pan American Games of the ITF in Bolivia.
- 2009- I was a seminarian in the national course of referee type B in Venezuela
- 2009- I was an Umpire at the XVI World Taekwon-Do Championship in Russia
- 2009- I was the President of the Table in the IX Pan-American Games of Taekwon-Do in Puerto Rico
- 2009- I was awarded as best instructor and referee by the Panam Taekwon-Do Council
- 2011- I was an Umpire in the USTC International Tournament organized by Master Orlando Vega 7th Dan in North Carolina USA
- 2013- I was part of seminarians in the course of National Referee type B organized by the USTC chaired by Master Orlando Vega 7th Dan

Master Phillip Obregon
- 1973- He was introduced to Taekwon-Do during his college years training in a martial arts club on campus and shortly after studied ITF Taekwon-Do under Grandmaster Kwang Sung Hwang.
- 1974- Master Obregon earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Social Relations/Community Affairs with a minor in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State College.
- 1977- He began teaching and performing demonstrations in ITF Taekwon-Do with Grandmaster Hwang.
- 1978- he earned his Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from American International College.
- 1993- He was a coach for the USA TaekwonDo-Do Team that competed at the First Junior ITF World Championships in Moscow, Russia.
- In 2013 and 2015 he was a coach/manager for the USA Taekwon-Do Team that competed at the First and Second Unified ITF Open World Championships in London, England.
- In 2017 he was a coach/manager for the USA TaekwonDo Team that competed at the Unified ITF Open World Championships in Corrientes, Argentina.
- In 2019 he was coach/manager for the USA Taekwon-Do Team that competed at the Open TaekwonDo-Do World Cup in Iguazu, Brazil.
Master Obregon is currently a 7th degree black belt and certified chief instructor of “Taekwon-Do School of Excellence” in Florida. Master Obregon was awarded “Instructor of the Year” in 1992 and 2016, “KATU School of the Year” in 2002 by Grandmaster Kwang Sung Hwang.
Our Referees
The following students had attended more than 2 Referee Class C Training and help in more than 1 Tournament. This is why they are recognized and we are thankful for their help and dedication. Our goals is to standardize the rules of local tournaments in Florida, encourage responsibility and train more effective referees and judges in our local tournaments.
